Crispy Dutch Oven Bread Recipe

Stir together.

4 1/2 C Flour,

2 tsp Salt,

1/2 tsp Yeast.


2 1/4 C Warm Water (120*).

Stir to form shaggy dough. (I added more flour to reduce stickiness.) Leave in bowl, cover, let sit for at least 4 hours.

Flour the counter - fold over, knead to form ball - place on parchment paper (I spray the parchment paper for easy removal), cover. Put dutch oven with lid on in oven. Heat to 450*. When heated through, remove from oven, put dough on parchment paper in dutch oven. Lightly mist dough with water and slice small slits the top of the dough. Put the lid on - bake 20-25 minutes. Remove lid, change temp to 425*, continue to bake for 10-20 minutes until desired brown. Enjoy!
